Suining's Glowing Pebble

At dusk, Suining found a glowing glass bead under the banyan tree. Doumi wanted to touch it but was stopped. Yehe examined it and said it reflected a world unlike theirs. Taisheng wrapped it in cloth and placed it on the window sill. The bead flickered thrice that night, and Doumi wondered if it was waiting for something.
